Meeting Location
We originally met at a pavilion at Edwin Warner Park. When the cold weather started we moved to a house. We gradually got too big for a house, so we met in a barn and later in other temporary locations.
We are currently a mobile church without a permanent meeting place. Upcoming meeting locations are posted in the Announcements section on the homepage.
What to Expect
Find a seat on a bench, chair, or sofa, wherever you feel comfortable. We usually do four things together: sing, hear a message, share communion, and someone leads a prayer. You can just observe or participate as you like.
When communion time comes someone will pass the bread and grape juice. Someone will make a short talk, lead a prayer, and everyone is welcome to partake.
Enjoy the Fellowship
We call ourselves a family church, which means that families and children are involved. We have a lot of singles as well.
Many people describe our services by saying that the Holy Spirit shows up. That does not mean we do weird things, but it does mean that he inspires our time together.
We guarantee you will feel comfortable.
If meeting in homes, parks, or temporary locations sounds too personal, don't worry. We have visitors all the time. We usually start off with a donut or bagel and a cup of coffee and visit for 30 minutes. People will introduce themselves to you. The most threatening thing may be a handshake and a smile.
Encouraging Messages
We do not have a full time pastor or preacher. Our members usually share in this responsibility. We occasionally have a guest speaker, but don't get the impression that our messages are not challenging or uplifting. Most of the messages are outstanding.
Register to get our Messages
We communicate to our visitors and members via email and text messages. There is usually one message a week that tells where we are meeting and any special events, e.g. potluck or meals that are also taking place.
